About me

My journey with henna began more than twenty years ago, with curiosity, a book and a lot of practice. What started as a fascination with Indian culture gradually became a craft I kept returning to, learning from and developing over the years.

Today, I work with both traditional mehndi and contemporary body art, from intricate henna designs to modern jagua and mixed-media pieces. I love precision and detail, but just as important to me is the person behind the design – their ideas, the occasion and the way a pattern naturally fits the body.

Whether I am creating a one-to-one piece, working with my team at a large event or teaching a workshop, the approach remains the same: thoughtful work, good communication and genuine enjoyment of the creative process.

And after all these years, a beautiful design can still get me just as excited as it did in the beginning.

How I Work

consultation

We start with your idea. You can come with a specific reference, a few motifs you like, or simply a sense of the style and mood you are looking for.

design

We look at the placement, size and details together, and shape the design to suit both your ideas and the part of the body it will be created on.

body art

Once the design is settled, the painting begins. Each piece is drawn by hand using henna, jagua, or a combination of the two.

aftercare

Before you leave, I’ll explain how to care for your design, how the colour will develop and what you can do to help it stay beautiful for as long as possible.
